Animal Health Research groups

The NEIKER Animal Health Department is developing R&D projects focused on epidemiological research, control, prevention and the treatment of diseases with a major impact that affect livestock, pets and wildlife species in the Basque Country, with the aim of improving the health and welfare of animals and, in particular, the work of monitoring the main zoonoses, which are those diseases that also affect people.
